Dragonball is about a young Goku and it
quest for dragon balls. He meets various people along the way. It is
a very entertaining show to watch as he goes from one quest to the next.
He gathers friends along the way Bulma and various other. He is a young
carefree boy. No real sense for what is going on in the world either.
Dragonball Z is about Goku when he is a bit older married and has a
son. This is his battle to protect the planet earth from various things
that threaten the planet. Each saga is a new adventure. Many of the
people from Dragonball are in this one as well. So you have lots of
familiar faces. It can be funny and depending on the Saga (Like the
Frieza one I never cared for), they can be long and drawn out or something
that keeps your attention.
UNCONFIRMED DBZ Live Action Movie News
Screenwriter Ben Ramsey ("The Big Hit") has signed to adapt
Dragonball Z for the big screen for 20th Century Fox, reports Variety.
Dragonball Z was adapted from the "Dragonball" manga created
by Akira Toriyama and later developed into a Japanese anime series.
"Dragonball Z" follows the adventures of an adult humanoid
alien who's just discovered that he was sent to Earth to blend in and
destroy our population but instead elects to protect it from an oncoming
alien onslaught. Ramsey recently wrote the adaptation of Marvel's Luke
Cage at Sony's Columbia Pictures, as well as Static for Columbia-based
producer Neal Moritz.
