Witch
Hunter Robin follows the lives of the STN Japan (STN-J) team who protects
citizens from the threat of modern day witches. Solomon (STN), based in
Europe, tracks individuals with the witch gene in their ancestry and takes
action against those witches whose latent abilities emerge before they
can harm the general populace. We join the story when Robin, a witch hunter,
arrives at STN-J headquarters to replace a team member who was lost in
the line of duty. Witch Hunter Robin, a young 15 year old girl from Italy,
is a "craft user" with the ability to create and manipulate
flame. Arriving in Japan, she meets the various members of STN-J including
Amon, Haruto, Miho, Yurika, Michael and administrator Zaizen. Witch Hunter
Robin seems to have a strange fixation with Amon and seems to follow his
orders in almost a father - daughter way or perhaps as an enamored teenager
... otherwise her demeanor is reserved and cautious. As with most mysterious
organizations, STN seem to have its own share of political maneuvering
and mistrust. some in organization are looking out for their own agenda
and are wary of what solomon HQ might know or be planning. STN-J is working
with a new division, "The Factory", who has developed a witch
counter agent called "Orbo" which seems to nullify the effect
of most witches' powers. It's highly experimental and Zaizen is over seeing
its field testing with much success. From here, Witch Hunter Robin the
story of STN-J unfolds. |
